Our management system allows us to text you approvals & declines in an easy to understand format

Parts are ordered and work Begins
Some parts may require over night ordering

Jammin’ J Auto will keep you up to date as repairs are performed
Usually via text, any increase in repairs or cost will be approved by customer before being performed

Vehicle is completed and the customer is notified
This can be a phone call but is usually by text

Arrangements for payment and pick up are made

Here at Jammin’ J Auto & Tire, we try our best to be the best!  Our technicians look over your vehicle and photograph potential problem areas and make this available to you, the customer, almost instantly as the check is completed.  A link is provided to the customer via text or email and you are able to view the actual concerns without having to leave work, and being able to see the actual problem on the spot. Next, the customer is contacted to discuss your repair and give detailed, upfront pricing for all repair or maintenance needs.  We have found this system to be very effective in communicating the health of your vehicle which aids our goal of being your long term vehicle service provider by allowing us to help you plan for your vehicle’s next needed service before it becomes an emergency.  Our system also automatically schedules your next oil maintenance service based upon your vehicle history and will text you a reminder days before your appointment. This service has made our loyal customers very happy.

Meet Doug – Car Guy, Fan Fixer, and Weekend Fisherman
Doug’s love for cars started with his very first ride—a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that he still owns and wrenches on to this day. Born and raised in South County St. Louis, Doug has been hands-on with engines, tools, and anything mechanical for as long as he can remember. A graduate of Lindbergh High and South County Tech’s Auto Mechanics program, Doug went on to earn his Associate’s in Automotive Technology from Forest Park CC, followed by a Bachelor’s in Automotive Management from Pittsburg State University. Somewhere along the way, he met Gail—his future wife and partner in both life and business—and the two tied the knot in 1993. In 2010, Doug and his wife Gail took their shared passion for service and opened Jammin’ J Automotive (formerly Tire Brokers), and he’s been the familiar face at the front counter ever since—making sure every customer is taken care of like family. When he’s not at the shop, Doug’s either out on the water with a fishing pole in hand or in his garage restoring antique electric fans (yes, the vintage kind with real craftsmanship and charm) or wrenching on the Mustang. Whether it’s tuning up a classic car or bringing an old fan back to life, Doug’s always fixing something—and loving every minute of it.

Meet Cole – Your Go-To Guy at the Counter
Cole got his start turning wrenches while studying at Ranken Technical College back in 2017, and after 6 years under the hood, he made the leap to the service counter—where he’s been keeping things running smoothly for the past 5 years. Whether he's translating tech talk into plain English or making sure your car gets exactly what it needs, Cole brings real-world know-how and a calm, confident vibe to every customer interaction. Outside the shop, Cole’s all about adventure and hands-on hobbies. He’s an avid fly fisherman, a hockey player who’ll hit the ice whenever and wherever he can, and a gaming PC builder who knows his way around both hardware and hot rods. When he’s not doing all that, he’s out enjoying nature with his girlfriend and their two dogs.

Meet Tom – Our Gearhead with a Spike!
With 8 years under the hood and 7 of those years spent right here, Tom brings serious skill and dedication to every vehicle he touches. A proud graduate of Forest Park Community College’s Automotive Technology program, he’s got the know-how to diagnose and fix just about anything with an engine. When he’s not fine-tuning your ride, you’ll find Tom casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, spiking volleyballs on the court, or expanding his ever-growing collection of Jack Daniel’s swag (seriously, he’s got some cool stuff!). Friendly, focused, and full of horsepower—Tom’s the guy you want in your corner when your car needs a pro.

Meet Jerry – The OG of the Garage
With over 25 years in the automotive world, Jerry’s the kind of technician who’s seen it all—and probably fixed it twice. He got his start pumping gas at Midland Valley Sunoco back in the day (RIP), and he’s been wrenching ever since. If experience had a face, it’d look like Jerry with a torque wrench in one hand and a fishing rod in the other. A proud dad of three boys and happily married (he thinks—it’s been a while since he checked), Jerry balances family life with his passion for fishing and competitive shooting. Around the shop, he’s known for his calm confidence, mechanical know-how, and dry wit that keeps everyone on their toes. Legend has it, if it’s broken, Jerry can fix it—and probably faster than you can say “Midland Valley.”

Say Hey to Jake – Wrenches by Day, Writer by Night
Jake may be one of the newer faces on the team, but with 4 years of experience and a degree from Ranken’s Automotive Technology program, he’s already making big impressions under the hood. Jake tackles every job with precision and a laid-back vibe that keeps the shop running smooth. Outside the garage, Jake’s a creative soul—he loves writing, gaming, and chilling with friends. Lately, he’s also been getting into cooking… thanks to a Blackstone griddle he won (yep, he’s got luck and skills). If you catch the smell of something delicious out back, there’s a good chance it’s Jake experimenting with his latest recipe. Smart, friendly, and always learning—Jake’s the kind of tech you’ll want working on your ride and at your next cookout.
